I agree! Assessing your students frequently is so important. Short but frequent assessments so that no kids get left behind. I like how she talked about formal or informal too. It can be as simple as just getting a white board out and having them do a problem on it. One thing she also mentioned was promoting communication. I think this is so important so that kids have the ability and confidence to speak up for themselves.
