  I was sad to see the statistic that only 25% of students have a positive word to describe school. Especially younger kids. I think it is so important to build those positive relationships with kids and help them to see school can be positive and a safe and fun place to be. Social and emotional learning seems to be a good program to use to build that positive atmosphere in school. I also like that 83% increase in social skills when SEL is integrated into a school day. Social skills seem to be lacking a bit these days.
