107 Classroom management session 3
in session 3, I learned how to important it is to use data and individualized supports when working with student’s have the most significant behavior needs. One of the biggest takeaways for me was understanding that behavior is not random. It has a purpose and teachers need to take the time to analyze data and identify the root of behavior through tools like a FBA. Another third key idea from the session is the importance of ongoing assessment and flexibility. Teachers need to continuously collect data monitor progress and adjust interventions when needed holding regular meetings, communicating with families and staff and documenting everything ensures that the student is getting the right support. Overall this session helped me understand the supporting students with intensive behavior needs requires patients, consistency, and collaboration..
