106- Organization Session #2
I learned that time management is really important in the classroom because it helps both teachers and students be more productive, reduces stress, and builds self discipline that leads to accomplishing goals. It starts with setting clear expectations and working together with students to make the most of instructional time. I also learned that it’s important to work smarter, not harder, and that planning ahead can make a big difference in how smoothly the day goes. Managing time outside of the classroom is just as important so teachers can stay organized and prepared, which ultimately creates a better learning environment for students.
I can use time management while subbing by following the teacher’s schedule closely and keeping the class on track so instructional time isn’t lost. I will set clear expectations, keep transitions smooth, and focus on working efficiently so everything gets done. I’ll also stay organized and flexible so I can adjust if needed while still making the most of the time with students.
