106 Organization, procedures, routines session 2 lesson 1-5
What I learned from this session is time management is so important with teaching. You only get these kids for a little bit each day and a little more than half the year. Teachers are expected to teach so much in that short time. Without time management of your classroom, instruction time, and your own time, you would not meet your goals and would have chaos. Some tips I would use from this session are establishing clear classroom expectations and develop them early in the year. Use technology to save time. Set purposeful routines and procedures. The biggest thing though is to be flexible and remember you are doing this for the kids.
