105 Technology and Data Analysis Session 3
Session 3 was very information heavy so I do have a lot of takeaways. It was very interesting to see the insight of data collection from a primary school perspective and see how they are collecting data on curriculum growth. Out of all of these the only one I recognized was fast bridge but the reading progress creation through Microsoft teams was very enticing to see if I can experiment with that application in the future. I especially like how almost all the programs offer some obtainable graph or data that can be shared with parents on growth. For the assessments overview I do like the end of unit based data collection just as a quick check in to ensure everyone’s on the same page. Overall I better understand the transition from beginning of the year screeners to progress moniotring later in the year and really how to measure that data.
