104 Session 2 lessons 1-3
Interventions is what I currently do as a para. This session would be a wonderful session for intervention paras to watch. I learned a lot of things that can help me with my current position. The biggest takeaways are small group support for students not meeting the grade level, approximately 4-8 students. Designate a space, let them know why they are there, and explain expectations. I also liked where she said to take what they know to help boost their confidence and to celebrate even the tiniest achievements. Some other strategies that can be used are centers, tools, apps, and specific work to send home for parent support.
