Using exit tickets as a way to gage where the class understanding is a great idea instead of a formal test. I also like that she gives opportunities to retake and reteach.

I found the planning to be informative using the essential standards with purposeful planning and including learning targets. Making sure to read the room and reflect, reteach, and extend if needed.

Very smart to use examples and clear objectives as a form of visual aid. I haven’t thought about using those for visual aids before. Also like how she talks about giving students opportunities to engage.

I found the idea of displaying the learning targets interesting. I’ve used visual aids a lot as a para but haven’t displayed learning targets. I also like the model “I do, we do, you do”
